With our Name a Well program, once you have raised the money for your well, you can choose a site from our upcoming projects list. We will commission an 8-inch square tile, engraved with the inscription of your choice. This will then be permanently set into the base of the well.

We will also send you photos of the children who will use your well, in addition to photos of the school before, during and after the well construction. People have chosen names like 'friendship' and 'peace'. The wells pictured were our first two, which were named Kwagala (which is the Lugana word for 'love') and Kirabo (which means 'gift'). Please note that these wells were completed before we started using the engraved tiles.
