The St Kizito Kyamugulum Primary School is located in the Mubende District of central Uganda. The school has 518 pupils and 9 teachers. There is one child with special needs and 100 orphans. Before the well was installed the nearest water source was 4 km away. Too far for the children to walk to during school days. The school urgently needed a nearer water source so that the children could spend more time at school, and less time fetching water.
