The Bishop Luwum Nursery & Primary School Well is located within the Kole District in Northern Uganda, Africa. This well was drilled for an upcoming school that will have 104 students. The community in which the school is located has 126 households, therefore bringing clean drinking water to over 1,000 people. The nearest water source to this community was a “protected spring” that was located about 1 mile away. The water spring was contaminated and the community was suffering from numerous water borne diseases. The new well has solved the problem of having to walk a long distance to fetch water and it will reduce the water borne diseases within the community.
