The Agoma Primary School Well is located within the Kole District in northern Uganda. This well was drilled for an existing school that has 1,119 students. The community in which the school is located has 70 households, therefore bringing clean drinking water to over 1,500 people.
Before the well was installed, the nearest water source to the community was a shallow well that was located about 2 miles away. The new well has solved the problem of having to walk a long distance to fetch water therefore allowing the children to attend school instead of fetching water.
