We have several crews of drillers we employ who work for us. We use hand pumps, roundabout pumps and solar pumps. We even have a diesel powered pump at one large school.

Our sanitation system is something we designed and developed. We are the only group building this kind of toilet, and it is the only toilet of it's kind in the developing world.

Here is some information on it

http://www.dropinthebucket.org/innovations

and here is an article from Uganda's largest newspaper about our sanitation system

http://www.dropinthebucket.org/press/the-new-vision-ugandas-largest-newspaper

Thanks,

Who actually goes to the site and digs, plumbs, and sets up the well? Do you use hand pumps, solar powered pumps, or on the grid systems? What types of sanitary facilities do you provide? I am a retired facility engineer, and journeyman pipefitter, and how you get this done interests me. I would like to know how you do it, thanks. Michael
