This rural village in Eastern Uganda has a population of approximately 1200 people.   The water they consumed was drawn from a dangerous and stagnant hole – which was a breeding ground for Malaria-
 
In October 2006, three members of Drop In The Bucket went to Uganda for the first time to check on the first two well installations.
