With our name a well program, once you have raised the money for your well, you can chose a site from our upcoming projects list and let us know what you would like it to be callled. We will the commission an 8 inch square tile with the name of your family, school, group or organization engraved on it. This will then be permanently set into the base of the well. We will also send you photos of the school before, during and after the well construction as well as pictures of the children that go to school there and will use the well. Some people chose to name their well things like 'friendship' or 'peace', the two wells pictured were our first two wells which were named Kwagala, which is the Lugana word for 'love' and Kirabo which means 'gift'. These wells were completed before we started using the engraved tiles.
