These kids' only source of water is a muddy hole that they have to share with animals. The mosquitos around it cause frequent outbreaks of malaria and other water born illnesses. It is just over three miles from their village to the water hole, so they start every day by carrying full containers of water back to their homes.

Once a site is selected, and the drillers are commissioned, it usually takes a few days to reach the water table as it often is a hundred feet deep or more.

Bricks are laid down and cement is poured and meticulously shaped.
